Boost.Join Description
Boost.Join is an asynchronous, message based C++ concurrency library based on join calculus. Boost.Join is an asynchronous, message based C++ concurrency library based on join calculus. It is applicable both to multi-threaded applications and to the orchestration of asynchronous, event-based applications. The project follows Comega's design and implementation and builds with Boost facilities. It provides a high level concurrency API with asynchronous methods, synchronous methods, and chords which are "join-patterns" defining the synchronization, asynchrony, and concurrency. What's New in This Release: · drop function api · the signature of chord function is mapped from chord's port types directly · ability to use boost::lambda and phoenix to define chord function · pimpl design for ports and joint · support JoCaml (functional) style of Join programming
