KopenVPN a free project that tries to simplify the usage of the OpenVPN service on the KDE desktop environment, simply by allowing users to open and launch any OpenVPN configuration file (.ovpn). To install the KopenVPN software on your Linux system, you will need to download the tar archive from the downloads section above, and extract its contents to the /usr/local/bin/ directory. Don't forget to set the executable permission to the kopenvpn file. Users of the Porteus Linux operating system can simply activate the KopenVPN_1-0.xzm module, which can also be downloaded from the link above.
