Nobilis Description

The most oldschool theme ever made! With this theme you'll take a trip back to the middle age and remember old fantasy videogames while doing your everyday work!Developer commentsEver wanted to be the king in your Linux castle? Ever wanted to manage files in a kitsch marble background? Your dreams are reality, now. This theme is a port of Nobilis for Mac OS X Tiger, originally created by Fixicon.I've done this theme mostly for fun but I found that making original themes like this was a very good idea, going back to mother nature's GTK Pixmap Engine and spreading crazy ideas. However, this is not the final version, as the pixmap engine has its liabilities and everything cannot be done with it. You can suggest your workarounds for every application you want.Because of its appearance, you can see this theme redefines almost every widget, so I think it can be a good starting point for a completely original theme. You can note it includes a Xfwm4 theme. Port it to whatever window manager you want and spread the news: King Arthur is back on your desktops! How to install?· Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background· Click on the first tab: Theme· Drag and drop the theme's archive in the Appearance Preferences window.· If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.About GNOME:GNOME is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment—the graphical user interface which sits on top of a computer operating system—entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs which manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.GNOME is part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, most notably Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, though this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project puts heavy emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things “just work”. Requirements: · gtk+ · GNOME
