ProxLinux Description

ProxLinux is a Lubuntu based Linux operating system using the super lightweight LXDE and Openbox environments. Rather than using the LXPanel I've built an OS that takes full advantage of a fully featured right click menu. This is something that Openbox is very capable of and it does it well, in my opinion it's unbeatable. It's super fast, responsive and unobtrusive. Leaving you alone to do what you love most whether it be using the internet, watching films or listening to music!Developer commentsI try to release each version a month or two after each Lubuntu release which is about enough time for the Ubuntu base to have dealt with bugs etc meaning that by the time ProxLinux reaches you it's nice and bug free. It uses the tint2 panel for it's dock with a custom built theme. It's fast and works great at reviving older computers that would be otherwise useless but works great on newer hardware, although it's only built in the 32 BIT architecture at the moment.Product's homepage
