A free, fast, browser based multiplayer shooter Quake Live is a free, fast paced, continuously updated multiplayer shooter game from id Software, that runs in your web browser. Based on Quake III Arena and its expansion, Quake Live adds engine updates, a graphics polish, rebalancing, more gametypes, new maps, statistics and achievement tracking, and social networking. Quake Live is completely free and does not require Quake III to play.
