Qute 3++ (custom mod) Description

Simple and unobtrusive theme with clear, colorful icons. Qute 3++ (custom mod) is a Firefox theme recreated from the original Qute 3 one, to work on Firefox 3.0 and 3.1 nightlies.Developer commentsThis theme was originally made by Arvid Axelsson. I started it as an adaptation so I could use the theme in Firefox 3.0 betas, but Arvid has already updated the theme too.Still, I believe the customizations I made when building the Firefox 3 adaptation make it look even better than the original, so I will keep this theme for anyone who thinks the same way as me. Requirements: · Mozilla Firefox What's New in This Release: There's some known "glitches" in the theme. The most noticeable ones are: · 1. The drop-down boxes in Linux, which show a weird "inner drop button" that I can't seem to get rid of. · 2. The text in the menu bar doesn't change properly from normal to hover text color, so depending on the OS/WM highlight color for menus, it can be hard to see. · Because I don't use this theme anymore, and so I lost interest, I don't know if I will ever update this theme again. So if anyone has the time and knowledge to figure out these problems, I would not mind taking a patch with the necessary changes, and I would publish a new (and possibly final) version with them included. · Updated the theme files to be compatible with 3.6a1pre, and some other changes. · I have tried to be as much comprehensive here as I could. I fixed the menus as much as possible trying to make them look decent in both windows (classic and aero themes) and linux (gnome, checked a few of Ubuntu's default themes). I think the result should be acceptable for everyone, but if that's not the case: sorry, I can't do more. · The other major problem was, and still is, the second dropdown box. I can't fix it. I could hide it in linux with a simple display:none tag in the css, but then it would not be visible in windows either, which woudl be annoying. · Unless someone tells me of some magic attribute or selector which tells me if the user is using windows or not, I can't properly fix either of the "issues" correctly, without branching the theme files and managing two separate and incompatible versions, which I don't plan to do. · Also as stated before, I don't use this theme anymore, so don't expect any updates or changes anytime soon.
