Sets is a puzzle game, an implementation of the Sets card game. Sets is a puzzle game, an implementation of the Sets card game.You must find sets of 3 cards. 12 cards are placed on the screen out of a deck of 81. Each card has one of three shapes, one of three colors, one of three textures, and one of three numbers of items. A set is 3 cards where each attribute is either the same for all 3 cards or different for all 3.There are 81 cards in the game. 12 cards are shown at a time. The objectis to identify the sets. The upper left corner of the window shows howmany sets have been discovered out of how many that exist.Hitting the spacebar redeals 12 cards. The deck is shuffled after every "hand". It's not so much like the real game, it's just a one player version to let you practice finding the sets. Hitting the return key will expose all the undiscovered sets.Hitting escape exits the game.Clicking on cards selects them, if 3 cards are highlighted that are a valid undiscovered set, they'll get marked. The marking appears as digits that show up on each card. The first set found will have 1's, the next set will have 2's, etc.RULES OF THE GAMEEach card has 4 characteristics:COLOR: Either RED, GREEN or BLUENUMBER: Either ONE, TWO OR THREE itemsSHAPE: Either CIRCLE, SQUARE or TRIANGLETEXTURE: Either EMPTY, SOLID or LINEDSince there are 4 characteristics, each with 3 possibilities, there are 3*3*3*3 or 81 possible combinations.A "set" is 3 cards together where each characteristic is either the same for all 3 cards, or different for all three cards. For example:RED, ONE, CIRCLE, SOLIDRED, TWO, CIRCLE, SOLIDRED, THREE, CIRCLE, SOLIDForms a set. The color is all the same, the shape is all the same, the texture is all the same, and the number is different.All you have to do is identify the sets.
