Snapper Description

Snapper is an open source command-line utility that allows users to manage filesystem snapshots under a Linux-based operating system. It supports the Btrfs filesystem, as well as LVM (Logical Volume Manager). With Snapper, you will be able to create, delete, compare and restore snapshots. In other words, it’s like the Time Machine application for the Mac OS X operating system, but without a graphical user interface (GUI). Snapper allows regular users and system administrators to view older versions of the files on a hard disk drive and revert changes made to it.
