An unofficial remaster of Ubuntu Linux Spri is a lightweight, super fast Ubuntu-based Linux distribution focused on usability and speed.It uses the IceWM window manager - a lightning quick, super-lightweight alternative to Ubuntu's default desktop environment. It benefits from Ubuntu's excellent hardware support, great package management and with its lightweight focus, Spri can revitalize older hardware and is fast, stable and functional. What's New in This Release: · Various IceWM configuration tools have been added, including a meny editor, preferences editor, system sound editor and more · New packages have been added including mtpaint (Paint Application), epdfview (PDF Reader), GRandR (Display Settings Manager) · Listen (Version 0.6.3) replace Gejengel as the default music player · Startup and shutdown of Spri ghas been vastly improved thanks to a script submitted by OU812, with some minor modifications from myself. · Ubuntu-restricted extras and W32codecs packages have been added · Conky has been updated to version 1.7.2 · A few minor tweaks to the IceWM preferences
