TurnKey Node.js is an open source, lightweight and easy-to-use Live CD appliance based on the Debian GNU/Linux operating system and designed to help anyone deploy the Node.js asynchronous JavaScript framework on real hardware. Node.js is an open source JS framework built on Chrome's JavaScript runtime and specially designed for easily building scalable and fast network applications. TurnKey Node.js Live CD includes all the upstream Node.js configurations, Postfix MTA for sending emails, and a Webmin module for configuring Postfix. The default username for Webmin and SSH is root. In addition to the Live CDs, this appliance is also available as virtual machine images for OpenStack, Xen, OVF, OpenNode, and OpenVZ.
