Video downloader for bulgarian videosharing websites ViDown is application for downloading and converting videos from popular bulgarian video sharing websites (currently supporting mp3.bg, boozho.com, vbox7.com, clipovete.com, bgvip.tv and youtube.com) written in wxPython and using the power of ffmpeg, curl for conveting and downloading.ViDown is a simple python application for downloading videos from boozho.com, vbox7.com, clipovete.com, bgvip.tv, mp3.bg and youtube.com. ViDown checks the url and reads the information about the video. The information is later used for naming the files and setting id3 tags if you choose to download the video as mp3. For converting the videos in avi or mp3 is used ffmpeg.For the audio track is used the lame encoder.To be able to use this application you need to have installed:* ffmpeg (compiled with libmp3lame)* curl – for downloading the videos* xterm – for displaying the information about downloding and converting* python 2.5* wxPython 2.8 (unicode)* BeautifulSoup - for parsing the webpages (included in the package)* ConfigObj - for parsing the configuration file* gettext - used for translating the interface Requirements: · FFmpeg · curl and libcurl · xterm patch · Python · wxPython · BeautifulSoup · ConfigObj · gettext What's New in This Release: · Made the Main Window bigger, so the buttons fit when using stock buttons for other translations. Added option to change the width and height of the video, when converting it to avi. Now ViDown detects the default localization on the system and selects the translation, works when Select Language is set to Default in the Preferences Dialog . Translations are not updated for the new option in the Preferences Dialog.
