WIDE is a functional Web application based on AJAX and PHP that enables on-line editing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files. WIDE's (Web-based Integrated Development Environment) main goal is to create a functional Web application based on AJAX and PHP that enables on-line editing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files.Also, IDE should be modular in that way that additional modules could support database modeling, data manipulation, new languages, etc.Currently I'm working on selecting optimal technologies, plugins, etc. Selected items are (for now): · PHP (server backend)· JavaScript (UI functions) · jQuery & plugins· AJAX (communication)· XHTML & CSSOne of the problems I expirienced is making Codepress or Editorarea to display correctly in element that could be toggled. If you have any expirience with this, please contact me!What's New in This Release:· Tab UI control has been added. DB/SQL functions have been added.· Editorarea has been removed (it doesn't work with tab UI control, and Codepress fails).
