geepeeyes Description

geepeeyes is a GPS add-on for Google Earth (free edition) that supports NMEA protocol. geepeeyes is a GPS add-on for Google Earth (free edition) that supports NMEA protocol. It plots location, trail, speed, heading and speaks the driving directions on a dynamic map view even if Google Earth is off-line (cached) or better yet, put those wireless broadband interface cards, such as EVDO / 3G / GPRS, into use.geepeeyes began as a mere concept seeking to integrate GPS functionality (location, trail, speed, bearing, etc.) with google earth. Although this feature is already supported on Plus and Pro editions of GEarth, it is limited to Garmin & Magellan devices and does not come with the Free edition. I was motivated to integrate GPS on GEarth (Free edition) on my machine instead of settling for other award-winning navigation system mainly because of GEarth’s impressive satellite images. It makes you feel that you’re looking at the real thing instead of just “naked” road maps. With the use of this application, wrong turns, missing street names, the absence of reliable sources of directions, etc. would no longer pose any problems (well, almost). And most of all, watching the GPS functionally on GEarth (Free edition) is so cool, that it’s just like playing a game (dangerous, don't do it while driving). Requirements: · Google Earth
