iswitchb-tabs is a Firefox extension that aims to help users who (like myself) like to leave open many tabs. iswitchb-tabs is a Firefox extension that aims to help users who (like myself) like to leave open many tabs in different windows. The project is modeled after Emacs' iswitchb-mode, which allows for an incremental search through buffers (type part of the filename you're looking for, and the list narrows as you type -- just like GMail address autocomplete).I intend for it to be intuitive to use. You can access it either through Firefox's Tools menu, or by pressing the keyboard shortcut (F9; will be configurable in a later release). Just start typing a word in the title of the tab you want. The list will narrow down. You can use the up and down keys (or Ctrl-r and Ctrl-s) to pick the tab you want, if it's not the first one in the list. Once you've got the right one selected, just hit Enter. The tab will be selected, and the browser window containing the tab will be brought to the front.Requirements:· Firefox: 1.5 – 2.0.0.*What's New in This Release:· Toolbar icon available· Matches based on URL as well as tab title· Support for Firefox 1.5 added
