The compiler commands are the same as GCC: gcc and g++. All of the GCC command-line options are there and MORE! Crank up the optimization level (-O3 and -fast). Use interprocedural optimizations (-xipo). Use profile driven optimization (-xprofile). And this is just the initial version! More optimizations will follow shortly.We have simplified the install. Just bunzip and untar into a directory where you have write permission!! No need to be superuser.Programs compiled with GCC for SPARC Systems follow the same ABI as programs compiled by GCC. You can mix and match GCC for SPARC Systems and GCC compiled objects.Add yourself to the announce mailing list to keep up to date with the latest enhancements.
