This edition is designed to provide a navigation system which can be used by everybody without great knowledge in computers or Linux. MUD Navigation 2010.0 Edition is based on our 2010.0 MUD LXDE Edition and designed to provide a navigation system which can be used by everybody without great knowledge in computers or Linux. It is a live system, ready to go right from the start (GPS device required). Of course it can also be installed on the harddisk like all other editions, resulting in a faster system start. Versions: There are 4 different versions available, different in size because of the different maps. All ISOs are hybrid files, meaning they can be transferred to a USB key of matching size, using dd or mandriva-seed: * mud-navigation-2010.0-de-v1 (incl. Germany) 1GB * mud-navigation-2010.0-d-a-ch-v1 (incl. Germany, Switzerland, Austria) 1GB * mud-navigation-2010.0-europe-v1 (incl. Europe) 1,6 GB * mud-navigation-2010.0-world-v1 (World) 3,7GB All maps are provided by the OpenStreetMap project. The navigation software comes from the Navit project ( ) Other software included: - pcmanfm (file manager) - leafpad (editor) - ePDF Viewer (PDF viewer) - Xarchiver (archiver) - Seamonkey (browser, mail) - Image Viewer (image viewer) - Shutter (screenshots) - exaile (music player) - xine (video player) - me-tv - gnome-power-manger (power saving) - blueman (bluetooth manger) Unfortunately we have to follow license restrictions and thus had to exclude flashplayer (incl. browser plugin) as well as lame and some codecs.
