Tiny Password Generator project is a small but powerful password generator. Tiny Password Generator project is a small but powerful password generator. It can create passwords including/excluding numbers, uppercase/lowercase/special characters, and optionally even more secure (hard to remember) passwords. Background:I couldn't find a small password generator for my everyday use under KDE, only a few outdated projects without a package for my system. At least, there was a command line tool "pwgen", but I wanted a GUI. Therefore, I decided to build this kommander wrapper GUI for the pwgen utility. Hope you find it as useful as I do.Requirements:· Kommander· pwgenWith (K)Ubuntu, the installer takes care of the installation of these packages if they are missing. For other Systems, use your Distro's Software Manager (e.g. yast for SuSE). Installation:Extract the tarball, open a konsole (F4 in Konqueror) and type:sudo ./install.shThen enter your user password. The installer creates a new KDE Menu Entry under Utilities. (If you are not in the sudoers group, you must start ./install.sh from a root shell.)If you ever want to update or remove this program, just call the installer again. It will give you suitable options.
