Web Doc processor Description

A modularized Firefox extension for processing and validation of web documents inside browser Web Doc processor is a Firefox add-on for processing and validation of web documents inside browser. It is completlly embedded in browser and is available to use also off-line.The main point of this extension is, that it can be easily extended by new modules with different functionality. Web Doc processor provides by default module for web sites validation.This module is processing web domain, starting from one site and crawling through links in the same domain, found during the processing. By pressing "Tools"-->"Web Doc processor"-->"Start Viewer ..." you can get dialog where you can choose viewer (only default one at the moment), provide domain boundary and initial URI for processing.Module provides:-(X)HTML validation using DTDs (shows number of errors and warnings for each validated site)-information about catalog type used for parsing (XML, or SGML catalog)-looks for broken links-information about retrieved HTTP status code for each link if available-information about redirections during web site invocation-ability to directly get to source code of any processed web site-ability to directly get to any processed web site (will be opened in new tab)-results of processing can be saved as web siteModule is using XPCOM wrapper of OpenSP (SGML parser) originally developed by W3C. It is also the same tool used by W3C's validation service http://validator.w3.org/.Since this extension is new, there is available only English language at the moment.
