Backup Buddy is a small and user-friendly to use Mac OS X backup app focused on simplicity and ease of use. Backup Buddy has been created to bridge the gap between complex full-featured backup solutions which have dozens of settings and Apple's Time Machine.Backup Buddy creates a chronological archive of your data, each time updating only the changes. But unlike Apple's Time Machine, Backup Buddy will allow you to control exactly what will be backed up, as well as when and where the backup occurs. It will also enable you to add multiple backups, each with a different destination.While using Backup Buddy you will also be able to choose to automatically place your backup data inside a disk image file, a feature very useful in situations where you want to store the data on a not Mac-formatted network volume (an SMB server for example).NOTE: To buy Backup Buddy via the App Store an Apple account is required.
