Picture portfolio and manager Based on the same user interface as the popular CatDV logging tool, CatDV Pro is a cross platform, multi-user media database with extensive meta data support and powerful searching capabilities designed particular to appeal to video professionals. Here are some key features of "CatDV Standard": · Build up thumbnail catalogs with searchable metadata and log notes. · Automatically split a DV movie into separate shots. · Create and manage preview versions of your footage to use when the originals are offline. · Present slideshows of selected clips or stills. · Export clips to a different codec or as a web page. Requirements: · 1024 MB of memory or more (for large catalogs with many thumbnails more memory may be needed). · QuickTime 7.0 or later, including QuickTime for Java. · Java 1.4.2 or later. Limitations: · 30 days trial period. What's New in This Release: · Automatically reconform clips when opening a catalog if timecode format doesn't match media. · Support bulk editing of media metadata fields. · Various other minor fixes (including Cmd-Up/Down in Clip Summary window, date extraction from Canon Powershot AVI movies, editing event marker descriptions, converting markers to subclips, pressing ';' at the start of a multi-grouping field, remember free running verbatim logger clock offset, etc.). · Includes optional Cache-A archiving support.
