FlashFirebug Description

A Firefox add-on that makes debugging Flash inside browsers a breeze Firebug is probably the most famous web development tool for developers. It is used for modifying web page HTML on the fly, debugging JavaScript, modifying CSS and much more. There are components however that are outside the control of Firebug, the most famous being Flash. There have been some attempts to create extensions for helping in Flash debugging, most of them focused on generating traces that showed up inside extensions, a pretty good step, but not quite near the power of Firebug.Debugging Flash is not only difficult inside browsers, but difficult to achieve in any way. FlashFirebug was designed with the aim of simplifying the work of Flash developers. The normal debugging cycle is: to modify the FLA source file, compile, place the Flash on a web page, notice something is wrong, then repeat the cycle all over again. Many Flash interactions don't appear except when the flash is embedded on a web page, this makes it very difficult to avoid this tedious development cycle. We at O-Minds decided to change that, and we're happy to introduce the FlashFirebug extension which enables you to modify your own Flash files on the web as they run. Flash files are no longer closed content outside the developers reach. NOTE: The FlashFirebug add-on is cross-platform and it works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
