FogBUGZ - Web based project management, bug tracking FogBUGZ is a system for managing software projects designed by software development guru Joel Spolsky. It works so well that your projects will practically manage themselves. At the heart of FogBUGZ is a database of cases. A case can be: * a feature request,* a traditional bug report,* or an email from a customer. At any given time, every case is assigned to one person who must resolve it or forward it to someone else. Cases can be prioritized, documented, sorted, discussed, edited, assigned, estimated, searched, and tracked. Because FogBUGZ is web-based, everyone on the team always sees the whole picture. Everything from customer feature requests to high level design discussions to tiny bug fix details is instantly searchable and trackable. Every detail of FogBUGZ was carefully crafted with one goal in mind: helping teams create great software. Rather than giving you a big pile of features, designer Joel Spolsky has created a system that works with real people doing real software development. He even left out features that seem cool but cause more problems than they solve.What's New in This Release: Major New Features· Many operations are now handled entirely by your web browser, without reloading web pages. For example, when you click Edit to edit a case, the edit box appears instantly without reloading the page.· When you list cases, you can show as many columns as you want. Each column can be resized, rearranged, and sorted with the mouse. The customized layout will be saved with your filter.· Extensive keyboard shortcuts save you from reaching for the mouse. Type Ctrl+; (semicolon) anywhere in FogBugz to activate keyboard shortcuts.· You can now attach multiple file attachments whenever you create or modify a bug. Other Improvements· Improved multiple selection in the list page· Forwarding an email includes file attachments from the original email by default· Improved support for MySQL on Windows, including support in Setup· Hovering your mouse over a case number shows you a summary of the case, including the most recent comment.
