MathSBML Description

Use with SMBL in Mathematica MathSBML is a free and open-source package that will help you work with SBML models in Mathematica. MathSBML provides facilities for reading SBML models, converting them to systems of ordinary differential equations for simulation and plotting in Mathematica, and translating the models to other formats. It supports both Level 1 and Level 2 SBML. NOTE: MathSBML is licensed and distributed under the terms of the GNU Library or Lesser General Public License (LGPL). Here are some key features of "MathSBML": SBMLRead: · Function that reads an SBML file and translates it into a Mathematica data structure consisting of differential equations, initial conditions, variables, function definitions, event definitions, unit definitions and associations, and replacement rules SBMLNDSolve: · Function that solves the system of differential equations produced by SBMLRead using Mathematica's NDSolve. SBML NDSolve fully supports models with events. SBMLPlot: · Function that generates a plot of the resulting solutions. Support of all Mathematica "Plot" options. SBMLWrite: · Read an SBML file and write a translation. The only output formats currently supported are FORTRAN, HTML, and XPP. SBMLCopy: · Copy an SBML file, reformatting the text using Mathematica's XML/indentation capability to make the file more human-readable. Requirements: · Mathematica 7.0 · Mathematica 6.0 What's New in This Release: · Compatibility with Mathematica 7.0 Beta. · Fix error messages that incorrectly state L2V3 is invalid when unit definitions are included in a model.
