Lite and text only IM/Chat Client for Second Life SLiteChat (pronounced "slight-chat") is a completely open source text-only IM/chat client for use with Second Life. You can use it to talk to your friends without having to load up all of those heavy graphic goodies. Useful for those at work times.SLiteChat is a lightweight client which allows you to connect to the Second Life system and perform local chat and instant messaging with avatars in-world.SLiteChat is cross-platform and runs under Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows XP+, and GNU/Linux. What's New in This Release: Features: · XGridChat is now included in the distribution (except for Win32). This is a group chat relay program contributed by and written by Catherine Pfeffer which allows one to bridge group chats between grids. In the future will be the ability to do the same for instant messages. Bug Fixes: · Fixed a major problem with non-SL grids. Please upgrade today if you plan to use SLiteChat on other grids.
