Free tools for manipulating compressed and non-compressed files Zutils is a free and open source, cross-platform collection of utilities useful for dealing with any combination of compressed and non-compressed files transparently. The supported compressors are gzip, bzip2, lzip and xz.The currently provided utilities are:· Zcat - Decompresses and copies files to standard output.· Zcmp - Decompresses and compares files with Cmp.· Zdiff - Decompresses and compares files with Diff.· Zgrep - Decompresses and searches inside files with Grep. Requirements: · Java 1.6 or later What's New in This Release: · Added new utility; ztest. · zcat.in: Added new option "--recursive".
