CellMap — remote monitoring of a cell phone position, based on information from cellular base stations. 1. Download and install Cellmap to the mobile device you wish to track. 2. Reboot your phone after installation. Cellmap will start automatically. 3. Send a SMS from any phone with the text "Cellmap" (without quotes) In reply you will receive information about the location of the cellphone: mcc: XXX mnc: XXX lac: XXXXX cid: XXXXXX 4. To display the position on map, please register at http://cellagent.net and use "Enter CID / LAC / NET parameters" option. 5. For reliable operation of the application and to save phone battery it is recommended to set the network operation mode to "GSM only". No configuration or manual startup required. Tested on Android 2.1 and above. Some applications may conflict with Cellmap. Youlu, SMS Popup, Handcent SMS are trying to process the incoming SMS first (before any other applications). MIUI firmware modifies the SMS processing. If you are using it, all SMS sending/receiving actions are visible as system messages. The application is developed for the http://cellagent.net/ project.
