WaveRobotics 2826 Description

WaveRobotics 2826 is a FIRST robotics team is located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and was founded in 2008. Find out how we are taking the FIRST beliefs to heart. The Wave Robotics Team is one of thousands of FIRST Robotics Competition teams around the world. The FIRST Robotics Challenge is also known as FRC. FRC incorporates high school students, mentors from businesses from around the community, and a challenge given out at the beginning of the year. After the challenge is given in the beginning of January, the students and mentors have six weeks to plan and create a robot.  When the six weeks are up, the robots get shipped to the regional(s) that the team is competing in. If the team qualifies, there is  a world-wide competition in St. Louis, Missouri.  After the competitions, you have an off-season that lasts until the next challenge is given out in January. Watch as our robot, LandShark swims through the waters looking to make new alliances and engage in intense competition.
