The ABBS4Driver from OPI is a driver for communication with the ABB S4Cplus robot controller. The driver gives you full and easy access to control the robot, reading and writing of any kind of variable and complete control of up- and download. ABBS4Driver consists of a fully documented Java programming API connecting Java applications to ABB robot controllers. The ABBS4Driver is 100% Java. It will run on any JVM (Java Virtual Machine) including Sun JVM's and is supported on JDK 1.4.0 and later. With the ABBS4Driver you will be able to easily create applications in Java for complete monitoring and control of any part the ABB S4Cplus robot controller. Features in version 1.000: File services: Upload files from robot controller to PC Download files from PC to robot controller Delete files on the robot controller Rename files List devices on the robot controller List files on devices and subdirectories Create subdirectories Delete subdirectories Variable sevices: Read and Write RAPID, SYSTEM, ANALOG and DIGITAL variables Monitor variables and receive events when a value is changed.
