Several of the editing tools in Adobe's programs have consistent names and behavior. You can also link to Audition from other Adobe programs. For example, if you choose Edit In Audition while working with video in Premiere Pro or After Effects, your audio will open in Audition. Audition also links to Adobe Bridge, which provides content management and metadata-based searching and organization for audio, video, photos, and text documents. Adobe Audition 2.0 gives you fast, flexible, integrated tools for recording and mixing professional audio. The new low-latency mixing engine enables real-time effects editing, recording, and input monitoring. Work with more than 50 real-time effects, digital signal processing (DSP) tools, and mastering and audio restoration features, and route audio signals with flexibility using sends and inserts. The intuitive interface in Adobe Audition 2.0 lets you customize workspace panels for precise editing and mixing control. Use thousands of royalty-free, uncompressed 32-bit audio loops to create music, or choose from ready-to-use music beds if you need results fast. Create video soundtracks and take advantage of expanded support for video file formats. For soundtrack creation, audio analysis and restoration, mastering, and CD production, Audition 2.0 offers a complete, integrated toolset. Use Spectral Frequency Display tools including the Lasso tool to select and restore compromised audio, and use the new Mastering Rack to preview and apply multiple effects simultaneously.
