DWG Export for Solid Edge Description

DWG Export for Solid Edge is an AutoCAD DWG file export add-in for Solid Edge. Thanks to it you will have the possibility to export 3D solid data from a part and assembly Solid Edge document to 3d solids to meshes in an AutoCAD DWG file. DWG Export for Solid Edge reads the solid models from the current Solid Edge part or assembly and writes them as 3d solids in an AutoCAD DWG file. It can also tessellate the solid bodies into individual triangular meshes. These meshes are then exported to a DWG file as 3D Polyface Mesh, 3D Face, Line or Point objects. DWG Export for Solid Edge is very easy to use. It adds new commands to Solid Edge. Once installed, it automatically loads itself into Solid Edge and adds a new submenu called "DWG Export for Solid Edge" to the Solid Edge Applications menu containing these newly added commands.
