Epworth Sleepiness Scale Description

A large proportion of adults who present to sleep disorder centers have disorders associated with excessive daytime sleepiness. Excessive daytime sleepiness is a sign of an underlying medical condition, typically a sleep disorder. The Epworth Sleepiness Scale, which has become a recognized standard for assessing a patients sleepiness, is a simple questionnaire to help monitor your level of sleepiness.
