FreeStar 3GP Converter is a software which enables you to encode video files of various formats (including AVI, WMV, VOB, RM, FLV and MPG) to the 3GP or 3G2 format. The interface of the application is plain and simple to work with. Video clips can be imported into the list via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing). In the queue you can check out the status, time, size, along with source and output path of each video. After you specify the output profile and location, you can initiate the encoding task. Additionally, you can modify audio and video parameters when it comes to the quality, size, frame rate, codec, sample frequency rate and channels. But you can also delete an item from the list or clear the entire queue, as well as change the interface theme. FreeStar 3GP Converter requires a moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or displaying errors. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. However, there is no help file available and the interface needs a makeover, since it's outdated. But the biggest problems of the tool is that batch processing is not supported and that the image has a pretty poor quality after conversion. We recommend FreeStar 3GP Converter with reservations.
