GCS MagMap Description

MagMap is a computer magnetic map program. It was designed for companies that need to keep track of the whereabouts of large equipment inventories throughout a country or place. MagMap can also be used as an information board of any kind. There are several U.S. maps provided as well as three information board examples. However, MagMap was designed so that the user can design and use their own maps and information boards. Maps and information boards can be of any size and can be moved within the MagMap window. MagMap automatically maximizes to a computer's window size. MagMap has up to 200 single line memos that can be moved to any place on a map or information board with the mouse. Memos can contain up to 500 characters each. MagMap can be used on a network or as a stand alone program. The program was designed so that only one user at a time (on a network) can update a map or information board. There is also the ability to deny update privileges to any computers on a network, allowing viewing only. MagMap data is usually relatively small and can be easily shipped as an attachment to an email to other locations for viewing.
