GeoLocME BlackBerry Description

GeoLocME provides free online tracking of your RIM BlackBerry Smartphone! GeoLocME installs on your OS 4.1 or later Blackberry device (8100, 8300, 8800, 9000, and others) and runs in the background sending your location to the GeoLocME member portal every 60 minutes (Default). Registered users can log in and view their location, the location of other users, and control preferences such as nickname and if their location is shared with others. The GeoLocME client does not need a device GPS to work! GeoLocME can locate your position within a few hundred feet to a few miles using properties read from your device radio. Hardware with a GPS module allows more precise location, but is not required. For devices with GPS support, the radio properties are still used to provide a near-instant location fix as well as to provide location coverage when you are indoors or satellite coverage is otherwise not available. GeoLocME can be used to track the location of your BlackBerry, and whatever your BlackBerry is in - your car, your boat, your bike, construction Equipment, your fleet of delivery vehicles - almost anything, as long as you have cellular network coverage. Do you have more than one BlackBerry device? Track them all! By entering the same username and password on each device, they will all be mapped on the same interface and labeled with the appropriate device name or nickname you provide. GeoLoc Networks also provides API's for other mobile devices including Palm OS, Symbian OS, BREW, and Windows Mobile. It is recommended that GeoLocME users have a subscription to their carrier's mobile data services before installing this application.
