GetDiz Description

Work with simple text data by opening and editing it with greater speed and stability. The Notepad replacement has a streamlined interface and requires little space on the hard drive. "Undo" and "Redo" buttons are available in the interface. Cutting, copying, pasting, finding and replacing text is possible. GetDiz is a basic text editor that can be used as a substitute for Notepad. Fortunately, it is much more versatile and includes many more features compared with Windows built-in text editor. Besides TXT files, it also supports other text-based formats, such as INI, DIZ, and NFO. The program has an easy-to-use interface, quite similar to that of Notepad, except for the default blue background color with white characters. It also includes handy buttons for such basic operations as copying, cutting, pasting, saving the file, and exiting the program. Moreover, it includes a long list of options available from the menu. For instance, you can change the background and foreground colors or set the print color. It also allows you to create a list of words that will be automatically highlighted. Another option lets you copy text without worrying about leading and trailing spaces because the program will automatically trim them. In general, GetDiz is a small and free text-editing application with multiple functionalities. One of the main advantages of GetDiz is that it allows saving the contents not only as text but also as GIF images. It is also a good thing that the program supports a wide array of languages.
