GuitarCourses.ws Fretboard Trainer Description
Guitar is one of the most popular music instruments in the world. Nevertheless, to learn and practice how to play it, one needs to have a space, since guitars are rather bulky instruments. This program solves part of the problem of learning how to play guitar without needing to have a physical instrument in your hands. It allows you to learn and study all the notes in the fretboard. Since notes are the basis of scales and chords, this learning will help you to increase your knowledge about the instrument. The program has 15 lessons discussing themes like root shapes, natural notes, major and minor scales, and so on. You can create practice list using those excercises. Many of the lessons have one or more excercises for you to practice the fretboard knowledge you are acquiring. Some of the program's features can be customized. For example, you can set the note positioning, change the fretboard appearance, and set the fretboard to left hand if needed. Maybe the only drawback of the program is its lack of sound, which would have enriched the learning experience. You need to download an installer before downloading the actual program. That installer asks you to install the Babylon toolbar, to change your homepage to Babylon's, and to use Babylon as your default search engine.
