JLC SplitIt 95 Description

JLC SplitIt 95 is a file splitting software which will split files into smaller pieces and will provide a method to combine the pieces to get the original file back. This is useful for transferring large files to another computer via disks, e-mail, or whatever when there's a size limitation. When a file is split, a batch (.bat) file is generated by JLC SplitIt 95 to combine the pieces. A batch file is a small "program" and can be run just like any other program. It's been used in MS-DOS before Windows came along, and is still used by Windows 95, 98, NT, etc. For this reason, batch files can be used on any PC running DOS and/or Windows without needing JLC SplitIt 95 installed.
