JPEGCompress natively supports the GIF, JPEG, PNG, Portable Bitmap and X-Window image formats, and includes partial support for Windows Bitmaps. Additionally, users who have QuickTime installed on their computers will be able to use JPEGCompress to read and write almost any type of photo that QuickTime can. This includes support for Adobe Photoshop, JPEG 2000, MacPaint, PICT, QTIF, SGI, TIFF, Truevision TGA, Windows Bitmap images and even QuickTime Movies.
