MP3Fitness Description
MP3 Fitness is a handy application which allows you to reduce the size of your MP3 files without damaging the sound quality. This type of tool is recommend if, for example you want to store a large quantity of music (in the MP3 format) on an MP3 player but don't have enough free space available. The interface of MP3 Fitness is plain and simple. You can import MP3s into the queue by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. In the list you can view the source, size, converted rate, title, album and artist of each MP3 file. So, you can specify the output directory, as well as change the bit rate and channel, in order to initialize the conversion process. Furthermore, you can add or delete an entry, as well as stop the encoding. The program takes up a very low amount of system resources and quickly finishes a task. MP3s files are considerably reduced in size (even when the job is done with the default settings) and the sound quality is very good. We haven't come across any errors during our tests. However, we weren't able to access the help file (clicking the option didn't do anything) and the interface should welcome some improvements since it's outdated. Otherwise, we strongly recommend MP3 Fitness to users of all levels. Reviewed by Elena Opris, last updated on March 22nd, 2012
