Mathomatic for Linux Description

Mathomatic for Linux is a small, portable Computer Algebra System (CAS) written entirely in the C programming language. It is free software, published under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL version 2.1). This is a console mode application that does symbolic math and quick calculations in a standard and generalized way. Mathomatic compiles and runs under any operating system with a C compiler. There are no dependencies other than the standard C libraries. The software and documentation have been under continual development since 1986. Recently there has been an intensive bug fixing effort and cleanup. CHANGES MADE TO MATHOMATIC 15.5.2 TO BRING IT UP TO THE NEXT VERSION: - The exit value of Mathomatic Now reflects all errors when run with the -e option. So if simplification fails, it exits with the error value 1. Exit value is 0 if everything went OK. Also works without the -e option, when files are specified on the shell command line.An error will abort the script, returning you to the operating system with an exit value of 1. - Changed makefile to allow installing m4 Mathomatic without installing documentation.
