PMTL Description

The name PMTL stands for Poor man's texture layouterer. PMTL was developed to be a free font texture generation program. I started making a game and required something to generate a 2D font texture map. Having tried a few existing generators, most included the whitespace that tends to be be above and below a font in Windows. Main features: Generating tightly packed characters from any font Importing of PNG files to add to the texture map Assigning an ID to each element of the texture Exporting to PNG with an associated MAP file Drag and drop positioning and sizing
