PatSee PRO Description

PatSee - download multi-page documents from free web servers, including patent specifications. PatSee is an application used to automate the downloads of multi-page documents from free web servers, including patent specifications. PatSee saves the time and expense of downloading each page individually or ordering the document from a library. Patents may be downloaded and the separate pages joined automatically to give one file per patent (instead of numerous individual pages). If you make an error in the kind code when downloading from Esp@cenet (e.g. you ask for A1 instead of A2). PatSee will realise there is an error and download the correct version. If the patent you request is not found PatSee will look for an overseas equivalent. PatSee can also be used to harvest vast amounts of patent data (claism description, UPC codes etc.) for detailed graphical patent analysis using INAS software. Using PatSee, you can enter the one or more patent numbers, e.g. individually or by pasting a search page/list of patents, choose the server you prefer to use. If you wish you can specify the number of pages you want, e.g. just the front page, 100 pages max or all pages. If required, a number of patent numbers may be entered manually, loaded from a file, pasted from the clipboard or a file of patent numbers may be dragged from Windows Explorer and dropped onto PatSee. The download may be started immediately or scheduled for later. PatSee works in 'quiet mode'. That is, the program does not pop up with error messages during downloads as this would stop a download continuing. Rather, any errors that occur are written to the log , which can be viewed at any time. This makes PatSee ideal for unattended downloads, for example overnight. Limitations: 30 days trial does not download all pages of documents
