PreCaptureApp Description

PreCaptureApp was created as an open source and Java-based software utility that supports the efficient capture of information from natural science collection specimens. The data capture is done by facilitating the pre-capture of data reflecting the storage structure of the collection, imaging of the specimens to separate data capture from specimen handling, and community sourcing transcription of hand written label data.
