RSSFalls Description

The RssFalls application was developed to be a small tool that makes it easier for developers to download RSS or Podcast enclosures. RSSFalls brings Download and mapping enclosure files functionnalities. RSSFalls takes a standard RSS feed as an input and is able to download as many item enclosure files as asked, into a local target folder. This is what a podcast client progam typically do. But here, once enclosure files are downloaded, it recreates a "local" XML RSS file. This file mimes the original feed and maps enclosure URIs. It works like a WAN to LAN "RSS Relay".
