Simple Portfolio allows you to easily monitor a stock portfolio at a glance with each stock's current price and change displayed, advancers in green, decliners in red. The structure of the app is that of a Pivot with five Pivot Items: Main, Details, Graph, Search, Pie Chart, Setup, and Options. In the Main Pivot, where all the stocks are displayed, a tap on any stock brings up the Details Pivot Item displaying whatever data items you have pre-selected to view about that stock, e.g. Last Trade, Days Range, Dividend Yield, etc.On the Graph Pivot Item is the graph of the selected stock which may be set from one day to three years. A portfolio may contain up to 45 stocks, and you may create multiple portfolios. When on the Main Pivot Item, you also have access to your portfolio's total value and to the current major stock indices. The Pie Pivot Item displays a pie chart of your current stock allocations. A tap on a slice of the pie will display data on that stock. The Search Pivot Item displays a searchable list of all stocks on the three major exchanges plus ETFs. All you need to do is type in either the stock name or its symbol. The Options Pivot provides the ability to change the darkness of the stock info text and its background on the Main Pivot. The Live Tile item on the app bar will create a live tile that will periodically indicate your most active stock. On first use, tap the Setup Pivot heading to display the Setup Pivot Item where you may enter the symbols for the stocks of interest and then select the data items of interest for those stocks from a list of 45. You may return to the setup page at any time to make changes to your choices. You may create as many different portfolios as you wish using the Portfolios item located on the bottom App Bar. This stock data is provided as a free service. Its accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Verify the information with your brokerage before making any trades. The quotes are delayed 15 minutes. The app does need to have an Internet connection so as to access the data.
