Smart Audio Editor Description

Smart Audio Editor is a multifaceted tool that allows you to create new audio files, edit audio in any of the most widely used formats, create audio files from text using synthetic speech, and save an audio file in any of the supported formats. The program offers you a long list of effects and editing functions, which you can easily apply to any part of the file using the waveform graph provided. You can open any WAV, MP3, MP2, WMA, Ogg, RAW, AIF, VOX and MPC audio file, or rip any of the tracks of an audio CD. Whatever the format of the original file is, you can then save it in any of the other formats supported, so that you can also use this tool as an efficient audio converter (actually, a batch conversion option is also available). You can cut, copy, trim, and mix audio files (or fragments of audio files) in the most intuitive way. Applying any of the almost 30 different audio effects available (such as amplification, normalization, fade in and out, noise reduction, vibrato, echo, pitch and speed adjustment, etc.) is equally simple and accurate, thanks to its zoom in and out function. Together with these “more conventional” editing functions, Smart Audio Editor includes other tools which normally require you to install other standalone applications. Thus, with this program you can edit the ID3 tags of your active MP3 files, show a FFT frequency analysis of any audio track, merge audio files, and create text-to-speech recordings using any of the synthetic voices installed in your computer. Finally, its comprehensive but intuitive interface offers you easy access to any of the functions available by using its standard pull-down menus, its self-explanatory buttons, or an intuitive combination of both - a menu that shows a list of all the buttons together with their textual explanation. To make things even easier, most effects and editing functions have their own hotkey, and by right-clicking on the waveform graph itself you will have access to an extensive contextual menu.
