SniperFox is a useful, intuitive, precise, light-weight and efficient auction sniper utility. SniperFox simplifies eBay bidding while making sure a client pays the least possible amount for the items of interest. Just a few clicks- and any number of eBay auctions can be added/imported for sniping. The items are constantly monitored by SniperFox until the last possible moment before bidding is closed. At the last possible moment (depending on the network speed), SniperFox springs to action and bids on the client's behalf, preventing a possible bid war and driving the closing auction bid amounts down by 30% on average! Main features: Bidding Speed of up to 3x of competing products - Precise Network Benchmark, minimum number of steps required to place a bid and a multi-threaded design all add up to produce sniping precision beating many other competing products by a factor of 3 on average! Snipe Buttons for Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox - SniperFox installation adds a convenient BHO button on the IE toolbar (IE 5.0+) and a FireFox extension button in toolbar palette. Clicking this easy-to-access button while on a valid eBay auction page immediately adds the action to the SniperFox Bid List. There is no more need to copy the number, switch to a sniper application and paste the number- a tedious process employed by many other sniper application. There is also no need to use crude third-party browsers that enclose a particular eBay site and severely limit browsing capabilities. Multi-Threaded Design - each auction is run in a separate application thread, thus making individual snipes significantly more precise and avoiding interface "lock up". Multi-Threading ensures that auctions ending at the same time will not "clash". In fact, the only limit on the number of auctions that can be sniped at the same time is the network bandwidth. Real-time Network Benchmark - the program tests network connection from time to time to obtain the average eBay response time. This allows to bid exactly before the end of an auction, instead of using only a rough estimate. System Tray and Balloon Notifications - the application can run hidden in the system tray, providing the user with balloon type notifications upon important events (items added, network error, login failed, item won/lost).
