SysTool Description

With the help of SysTool you can view hardware information and tweak some settings to your machine, such as overclocking it. The tool does not contain many advanced settings, so it can be used with ease by enthusiasts. The interface is based on a regular window with a well-organized layout, where you can select your motherboard from a drop-down list and check out available sensors, as well as select the monitoring plugins you want to apply. Plus, you can specify the refresh rate. In addition, you can customize enhanced Intel SpeedStep, enable acoustic HDD management and set the ratio between minimum noise and maximum performance, select AMD64 Cool&Quiet and memory timings (e.g. drive strength, CAS latency), as well as establish the memory timings for i875/i865/i848, i855GM, i855PM or i915/i925/i955. Other options of SysTool let you activate CPU, ATI and NVIDIA overclocking, run a benchmark on the CPU, memory, hard disk and network, send Wake-On-LAN signals to remote computers, as well as view and copy log details. The application is very light on the system resources, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. It has a good response time and doesn't cause Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, users who want to tweak hardware settings are free to try out SysTool. Reviewed by Elena Opris, last updated on September 2nd, 2013
