ThermoGIS Description
ThermoGIS was specially developed as a public geothermal information tool that can be used for exploration and policymaking. With ThermoGIS anybody can have a glance view at key information of over 10 potential subsurface aquifers. Deep geothermal heat is a renewable energy source, which can be produced well in the Netherlands by pumping hot water of 45-120°C from permeable, water bearing aquifers at 1.5 to 4 km depth.
