TurboBass Express is a simple and basic utility tailored to help you design and calculate what dimensions should have the speaker cabinet you are trying to craft.Primal interfaceAlthough the program serves a technical purpose, its graphic user interface seems lazy and uncomplicated. The layout of TurboBass Express is quite intuitive, allowing you to quickly figure out how to use the application. The interface of the program is constituted of only one window, without any menus or options. Practical applicationBuying expensive loudspeakers is only half the work you have to do in order to make it worthwhile. With TurboBass Express you can effortlessly calculate the dimensions and volume of an adequate cabinet for your speakers by simply inputting technical information. After you have the required parameters, you can get to the next stage of designing and crafting your speaker boxes. Easily input the required valuesIn order for TurboBass Express to accurately calculate what the dimensions of your speaker box should be, you will need to input at least three of the required parameters. These technical parameters of your loudspeaker are usually written on the technical data sheet of the speaker. In case you can't find them, you can research the product code or even contact the manufacturer. You will need to input the resonant frequency, the volume converted in cubic feet, the diameter of the loudspeaker in inches and the Max Diaphragm Excursion in millimeters. After you choose if you want a sealed closed cabinet or one with vents, you can calculate and find out the box resonance frequency, its volume, the cut off frequency, the minimum vent area and the vent length.
